Getting to Best Friends

Although there is a small airport in Kanab or St. Georges, it seemed to be easier, faster, cheaper to fly into Las Vegas and drive the four hours to Kanab.  My husband had a conference in Las Vegas so it gave me a perfect opportunity to get to Best Friends.  I flew to Vegas on Tuesday night and spent Wednesday at Mandalay Bay in Vegas (awesome, by the way!).  On Thursday, I got in my nifty rental car and headed north out of Vegas.  Have I mentioned that my rental car is a red, convertible Mustang?!  Definitely a great way to drive in this sunny part of the country.
Anyway, it's just shy of four hours to Kanab from Vegas and a truly beautiful, awe-inspiring drive.  The incredibly blue skies and the red rock everywhere is just stunning!
