For several years, I've been donating to this amazing organization. You can check them out at http://www.bestfriends.org/aboutus/. Basically, it's an extremely large, successful no-kill shelter. It's sprawled across 3000+ acres in a canyon in Kanab, Utah. They share their space with all types of animals and each "group" has a part of the canyon: Horse Haven, Piggy Paradise, Dog Town, Cat World, etc...
They welcome volunteers so I've been wanting to do this for quite a while and am very excited that I finally have the chance to visit and help animals. So, this blog is to share my experience with other animal lovers.
